Shayne Welch received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in food science and human nutrition. She graduated with a master’s in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for health sciences with a focus in manual therapy. She practiced at Northwestern Memorial Hospital NMFF Outpatient Clinic and is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Specialist. She currently holds her ACE Health Coach Certification. In addition to her career in the allied health profession, she has coached in the fitness industry at Orange Theory Fitness and instructs spin classes at Spynergy.
Utilizing a holistic, evidence-based approach, Shayne strives to provide fitness consultations utilizing her background in physical therapy, nutrition and extensive knowledge of current fitness programs and resources on the Northshore. Her goal is to implement a platform and skilled approach for clients to improve their health profile through lifestyle management specifically addressing the fitness component of the equation.
Shayne is passionate about promoting health and wellness and personally lives life with a true commitment to what she preaches. She believes health and wellness is always evolving and intertwined with “life”. Developing the habits of daily commitment to movement and wholesome nutrition will ensure longevity and enable one to achieve success in all aspects of their life. She is involved in her community and volunteers with many local organizations. Shayne enjoys trail running or checking out one of her favorite indoor fitness classes. Shayne lives in Winnetka with her husband, three children, and her dog.
