STAFF SPOTLIGHT: EMMA
Meet Emma, one of our newest medical assistants! We are thrilled to have Emma join our team. Emma was inspired to become a medical assistant after her step-grandmother passed away in 2019. Being present and part of care lead her to recognize how much she loves helping people. She has been learning all kinds of new skills at our clinic including phlebotomy. She has found it interesting to learn about all the assorted color test tubes and what laboratory test they relate to.
Outside of work at Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health, she works part time at Dairy Queen and is a host at Oak at the Glen in Glenview. Some other fun facts about Emma include her love for animals, she has a golden doodle named Finley and two bunnies named Mylo and Cooper. In grade school and high school, she played water polo and swam on the swim team. She still enjoys these sports!
