DR. GENE CHIAO is Coming to Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health!
VERY EXCITING NEWS!! We are so thrilled to officially welcome DR. GENE CHIAO to Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health starting September 2023!
Dr. Chiao attended the University of California, Berkeley where he received his undergraduate degree and then Washington University School of Medicine for medical school. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center before moving to Chicago for his gastroenterology fellowship at Northwestern University.
Dr. Chiao was on faculty at the University of Indiana School of Medicine for several years before returning to Chicago where he has been in practice in the northern suburbs for over 22 years, many of which with Dr. Nathanson as his partner. Dr. Chiao’s experience, acumen, and compassion will be a wonderful addition to our care team at Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health.
