NURSE PRACTITIONER PASCALE DAOU VISITS MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL FOR SPECIALIZED IBD TRAINING
Our wonderful nurse practitioner, Pascale Daou, was lucky enough to be selected for the Advanced Practice Provider IBD Preceptorship generously sponsored by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. The APP IBD Preceptorship Program is a comprehensive educational experience where Pascale spent several days at an IBD Center of Excellence at the prestigious Mass General Hospital. During her time there, Pascale gained additional knowledge and confidence from an experienced faculty director and a multidisciplinary team in order to provide even higher quality IBD patient care based on current practice guidelines and research.
We are so lucky to have such a motivated and educated multidisciplinary team to care for our patients affected by inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including IBD-trained gastroenterologists, registered dietitians, a premier GI psychologist, and our squad of wonderful nurse practitioners, like Pascale, who are an amazing resource for urgent issues that can arise for IBD patients.
