Katrina is a registered dietitian who is passionate about helping others create a positive relationship with food. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Human biology with an emphasis in Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay as well a Bachelors of Music in Music Performance from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
Working with eating disorder patients has greatly influenced Katrina’s nutrition philosophy. She believes in a whole health approach when working with patients by addressing mental health and wellness, behavior patterns, sleep, stress, and exercise. Addressing whole health is also important when it comes to good GI health since the mind and gut greatly influence each other. Good health looks different for each person and Katrina collaborates with patients to create an individualized plan for their health goals.
Outside of CGH you can find Katrina cooking or baking up yummy and nutritious food in the kitchen, spending time with her family, running, sketching, or playing the piano.
