Shay is a graduate of North Park University. There she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing career with a focus on hospice care at Evanston Hospital, where she developed a deep understanding of patient-centered support during life’s most delicate moments. Driven by a passion for continuous learning and specialized care, she later transitioned into the field of gastroenterology, where she continues to thrive and expand her clinical expertise.

Personal life:

Shay currently resides in Skokie with her husband and their energetic Bengal kitten, Taz. A devoted animal lover, Shay loves visiting and donating to her local animal shelter. She also enjoys spending her time playing video games with her husband.
