Todd attended the University of Evansville in Evansville, Indiana, for both undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 2000, he completed his Master of Physical Therapy. He has always worked in physical therapy settings with a strong sports medicine component and continues to do so in his current private practice in Grayslake. Todd has been fortunate to work closely with strength coaches and trainers to develop coordinated training and rehabilitation for a wide array of clients’ needs, spanning from those just beginning fitness programs to high-level amateur and professional athletes.
Philosophy
Todd is a big believer on client education and showing them how to integrate seemingly small (yet important) activities into their normal day-to-day life to give them more control in reaching their goals. He shows his clients how to influence their own nervous system in order to make lasting changes to healthy muscle and joint function. This results in not just resolving symptoms of pain or tightness, but improved performance of their bodies, too.
Personal Life
Todd lives in Hawthorn Woods with his wife, three children, and dog. They look for any reason to get outside, especially to get into nature. He loves hiking, camping, swimming, waterskiing, obstacle course races, snow skiing, and snowshoeing. While his fitness goals have changed over the years, he sees exercise as a means to keep enjoying an active life with his family.
