EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Liz received her bachelor’s in nursing from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. After a number of years providing care at the bedside she completed her graduate work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She received a master’s in nursing and post-master’s certificate, graduating with honors. Liz is a member of the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing and an affiliate member of the American College of Physicians. Through participation in these organizations, she keeps up to date on the latest evidence to support her practice.

PHILOSOPHY

Disease prevention and enhancing the wellbeing of patients is Liz’s focus and passion. She prides herself on being a compassionate provider that listens to her patient’s concerns. She uses both conventional and integrative approaches including mindfulness, lifestyle modifications, and stress reduction in the care she provides to guide patients toward an appropriate treatment plan.

PERSONAL LIFE

Liz resides in Lindenhurst, Illinois with her loving husband and three children. They enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors together. When she finds a free moment she enjoys reading, cooking, yoga, and sitting quietly with a good cup of coffee!
