Educational Background

Devon attended Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University. She received her bachelor’s degree (BSN) while also balancing being a member of the Illinois State University track and field team. Devon started her nursing career in short term rehab and then worked for an infectious disease practice for several years. She is very excited to build on to her nursing experience, working in gastroenterology, and to be able to join a strong collaborative team.

Philosophy

Devon believes individualized focus care is crucial in achieving best outcomes for patients. Every person is unique and their needs are different, and this should also be reflected in healthcare.

Personal Life

Devon resides in Arlington Heights with her husband and children. Besides enjoying time with family, Devon likes to spend her free time reading and listening to books, crafting, baking and shopping. She has always had a passion for running, and although is a sprinter at heart, with much encouragement from her distance-running coach husband, she has ventured into the world of long-distance running.
