Rita

Rita comes to Comprehensive Gastrointestinal Health after completing the family case management educational program with SIU School of Medicine and spending a few years helping to coordinate senior health care. Her talent for speaking four different languages was invaluable to the non-native English speakers that she assisted in navigating the healthcare landscape. Rita believes care coordinators are the first face to any medical visit experience that’s why she thrives to make the experience smooth and fun.

Rita grew up in different countries traveling with her family. When Rita is not working, she enjoys the outdoors, visiting state parks, and loves free rock climbing, ice climbing, and hiking with her big highlander cat Chewbacca. Rita is interested in Earth and wildlife science and she hopes in the future to become an ethologist.
